After four productive sessions, the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL), in partnership with the Philippine Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (PhilAAST), held the fifth and last Roundtable Discussion (RTD) entitled “Insights from the Industry: Roundtable Discussion for the External Review of PAGTANAW 2050 Focusing on Environment and Space Exploration” on December 02, 2025 in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
The discourse highlighted strengthening of industry — academe collaboration, advancing local space technologies through upstream and downstream development, enhancing local capability and technology readiness, and integrating existing DOST forecasting systems and geospatial tools within industries.

Cooperation of the Department of Science and Technology; Inv. Rigel R. Gomez, CNP, President of Bauertek Farmaceutical Technologies; and Engr. Marloun P. Sejera, PhD, Associate Professor from Mapúa University.
